Gree KYD32 Portable Air-conditioning units work by taking heat from a room and expelling it to the outside. In the simplest forms of mobiles, the hot air is extracted from the room and expelled through a tube (KYD32).

The tube, similar to a tumble dryer hose (2m long), has to be vented to the outside ideally though a small hole made in the wall or window. For a quick fix (temporary solution) you can, with the use of a flattened oval adapter supplied, put the hose out of a partially opened window or door. In other circumstances, it may be possible to discharge the hot air through the ceiling.
